clinical audiologist who has practiced audiology for over ten years
(MA, 1995). Kristin is interested in the pathophysiology of hearing
loss due to aging
Apollonia Koleis
Api is interested
in mammalian
vestibular function, primarily cortical pathways that innervate the
vetsibular system and how the brain and cerebellum utilize and interact

Past Graduate Students
Ph.D.
Students
Shawn Goodman
Dr Goodman's
dissertation research focused on mechanisms of generation of
otoacoustic emissions in mammals. After completing his Ph.D. in 2003,
he completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Boystown National Research
Hospital under the guidance of Dr Doug Keefe. Shawn is now an Assistant
Professor in Speech and Hearing Science at the University of Iowa.
Au.D. Students
Rachel Roberts
Dr
Roberts is a clinical audiologist in Littleton, Colorado. Rachel
conducted research in the laboratory on temporal aspects of otoacoustic
emissions and cochlear delay. Rachel graduated with an Au.D. in 2004.
Chantel Hazlewood
Chantel is currently completing her clinical externship year at Riley
Childrens Hospital, expecting to graduate with an Au.D. in August 2009.
Chantel conducted research in the laboratory on the contribution of the
base of the cochlea to the generation of stimulus frequency otoacoustic
emissions.
